This collection contains negatives and transparencies, created by photographer David H. Curl, that depict people, places and events in the Columbus and central Ohio area from 1948-1953. Subjects depicted by the images include scouting activities at Camp Lazarus, Ohio National Bank, the Ohio State Fair, blacksmith Jim Ray, the world premiere of 'The Caddy' at Loew's Theater in Columbus, the antenna being installed on the Lincoln-Leveque Tower and the Park of Roses. Additionally, the collection contains images of buildings and student activities at Ohio State University and folk singer Dana Vibberts at WTVN television studio.
